Aston Township Historical Society
The Society meets in February, May, September and November with an interesting speaker each time. Meeting are held on the second Thursday at 7:00 pm at the Aston Township Municipal Building, 5021 Pennell Road, Aston, Pa.
The Aston Township Historical Society has a Museum Display Room in the Aston Community Center on Concord Road. It is open on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. There is an interesting display of various great nostalgia items and there are many old photos from floor to ceiling,

The Aston Township Historical Society was founded in 1993 by Paul Dougherty who, along with Edmund Kulesa, Bruce Wittendorfer and Jacqueline DiGiacomo, held several meetings to establish By-Laws and elect officers.
On September 19, 1993 to kick off the newly formed Historical Society a Proclamation Ceremony was held at the Aston Free Library. Several residents brought in their historical artifacts to display.
The object and purpose of this Society is to promote efforts to identify, preserve, and enhance the properties of historical value or interest to the residents of Aston Township.
Memorabilia, photos, stories, etc, are on exhibit in the Historical Society Room at the Community Center located on Concord Road.
